We are seeking a Salesforce & ETL Business/Data Analyst to join our Salesforce Integration (ETL & API) Development team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of business processes, technology, and user experience. The BSA will work closely with cross-functional business stakeholders, product managers, delivery teams and engineering teams to translate business needs into well-defined requirements and deliver scalable Salesforce and ETL integration solutions that drive efficiency and growth.***This is an office-centric position and will require 5-days per week onsite***
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Independently analyzes and documents complex business requirements, conducting requirements gathering sessions to define scope and objectives for new or enhanced systems.
2. Collaborates with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and technology innovations aligned with organizational strategies.
3. Translates business needs into detailed system and application specifications for development and support teams.
4. Designs, configures, and helps deploy enterprise systems, applications, and infrastructure to meet business requirements.
5. Supports the testing, validation, and quality assurance of new and existing systems to ensure functionality, performance, and security standards are met.
6. Provides technical guidance and mentorship to team members and stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
7. Ensures compliance with organizational standards, policies, and regulatory requirements in all system and process activities.
8. Monitors system performance, identifies issues, and implements corrective actions to optimize operational efficiency.
9. Manages vendor relationships and oversees third-party service providers to ensure quality and compliance.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Partner with business and technical teams to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for Salesforce Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud and other initiatives.
- Ability to work independently and analyze distributed and cloud systems like SQL, ETL, Salesforce, execute SQL queries in different database systems, SOQL queries in Salesforce and perform gap analysis.
- Deliver mapping documents and other technical requirement documents.
- Analyze business requirements and compare them against Salesforce/ source data structures to confirm alignment and identify any gaps or inconsistencies.
- Validate developer- loaded data in Salesforce by detailed checks to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with defined requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-work-stream teams to review, refine, and finalize business and technical requirements.
- Develop comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), User Stories, and User Acceptance Criteria in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams.
- Build user journeys, process flows, and system diagrams to visualize and communicate business processes and solution designs.
- Support the backlog management and grooming process, ensuring clear prioritization and alignment with business goals.
- Collaborate with engineering and QA teams during development and UAT to validate solutions meet business expectations.
- Maintain accurate and updated documentation using Confluence and track development progress using Jira.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Salesforce capabilities and data flows, identifying opportunities to optimize business processes and system usage.
- Support change management, end-user training, and documentation as part of new feature rollouts and enhancements
Qualifications
Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in business systems analysis, enterprise architecture, or related roles.
3. Strong knowledge of system design, integration, and support of enterprise applications and infrastructure.
4. Experience with requirements gathering, process modelling, and documentation.
5. Relevant certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMP are preferred.
Preferred:
- 6-8 years of professional experience as an IT Business Analyst or Business System Analyst, preferably supporting Salesforce CRM platforms (Sales Cloud and/or Marketing Cloud).
- Strong proficiency in Jira and Confluence for requirements tracking and documentation.
- Proven experience in creating BRDs, PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to build user journeys, workflows, and diagrams using tools such as System Architect, Visio.
- Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills, able to clearly convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience preparing executive-ready PowerPoint decks and managing deliverables via Smartsheet or similar tools.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities, data model, and integration patterns.
Preferred Top Requirements
The must-have requirements for this BSA role are:
- Experience with ETL technologies like Informatica or Talend
- Experience with Salesforce Platform, SOQL queries.
- Understanding of Salesforce REST APIs
- Experience with Microsoft SQL, DB2, data querying, and reporting tools.
- Understanding of digital banking operations, API, XML, JSON, CSV and system integrations.
- Experience working with projects following Agile framework.
- Experience with Agile tooling like Gitlab, Rally/JIRA/Confluence
