Job Description

We are currently seeking a Data Scientist for our OR& A team. This role will be a critical member of the development team responsible for the design, development, implementation and support of standardized reports, dashboards, and ad hoc data acquisition.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop a suite of actionable reports and visualizations in Power BI.

  • Assist peers and internal customers in the development of their visualizations with drill through data in Power BI

  • Aid in the modernization of our core reporting processes to support improved business performance, automation, and more advanced information analysis.

  • Perform active analysis of data sets and sources to ensure accuracy and consistency of presented reports.

  • Collaborates with various partners to prioritize requests/needs and provide a holistic view of the analysis.

  • Ensures all data acquisition, sharing and results of applied recommendations are compliant with company standards.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Strong background in SSMS and Power BI, including DAX code. SSRS experience also preferred.

  • Experience telling visual stories with data.

  • Strong analytical skills, with a strong preference for candidates with math, science, or engineering educational background, and/or professional experience specifically in a data analytics or reporting role.

  • Experience working with complex data structures

  • Experience working in operational reporting or analytics in a banking or financial services field strongly prefer

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, computer science, engineering or applied mathematics, or equivalent work experience

  • Two to four years of relevant experience
