Job Description
Provides risk support to Consumer and Business Banking. This position will partner with their assigned Line of Business to create, implement, maintain, review, and oversee an effective risk management framework. This includes responsibility for managing complex issues and customer remediations activities.
Responsibilities:
• Manage issue management activities and customer remediation events for assigned business lines.
• Monitor business lines open issues & remediation events. Ensure progress toward completion is on target and escalate when appropriate.
• Understand business lines’ products and processes including a sound understanding of the risk & control environment. Provide guidance on risk mitigation activities and potential enhancements.
• Consult & provide guidance and / or input on emerging risk. Partner with business lines, and other impacted areas and stakeholders to determine best risk balanced approach to remediate issues and emerging risk.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Ten or more years of applicable experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
-Considerable knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business
-Considerable knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies
-Considerable understanding of Branch and Consumer operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls
-Strong process facilitation, project management, and analytical skills
-Must possess business acumen and credibility to help business line(s) proactively identify and address changing workforce needs
-Excellent presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
-Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations
-Applicable professional certifications preferred

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $112,880.00 - $132,800.00 - $146,080.00
