Job Description

Federal Banking Operations Group is looking for a Operations Supervisor to join their General Agency Operations in Earth City, MO. In this role, you will implements operational policies to ensure accurate and efficient operations. Plans and schedules the daily work flow and coordinates with other areas as required to ensure compliance with service standards and regulatory deadlines. Establishes and maintains appropriate files and records ensuring adherence to record retention schedules. Resolves exceptions and problems of an unusual nature, referring more complex problems to manager as necessary. Develops and prepares reports, records and performance monitoring mechanisms informing management of operational activities. Provides training and develops staff through cross training. Implements and executes employee relations policies, training programs and various other human resources programs and policies.
The schedule is Sunday - Thursday, 3:30pm - 12:00am.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Ensures work unit is adequately staffed and participates in work as necessary

2. Supervises assigned staff by allocating, monitoring work, supervising production floor, data entry, extractions and mailroom operations.

3. Plans and schedules the daily work flow and coordinates with other areas as required to ensure compliance with service standards and regulatory deadlines. Collaborate with peers and leaders making sure daily objectives are met.

4. Establishes and maintains appropriate files and records ensuring adherence to record retention schedules. Resolves exceptions and problems of an unusual nature, referring more complex problems to manager as necessary.

5. Interfaces with related departments to jointly resolve problems, produce effective procedures and work flows that ensure quality service levels are maintained resulting in timely service and customer satisfaction.

6. Provides training, coaching and develops staff through cross training.

7. Maintains knowledge of all products, services and systems in assigned area staying abreast of new products and services and changes in existing products and services.

This role will require General Agency Clearance at the time of hire.

Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three or more years of operations experience in the financial services industry

Preferred Skills/Experience
- Strong knowledge of production, machining, processing, banking operation functions, systems, policies and procedures for the assigned area
- Thorough knowledge of computer applications and/or the equipment used in the assigned area
- Good organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Well-developed customer relations skills
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Thorough knowledge of banking operations and human resources
- Previous management, leading, supervisory experience highly desired

Pay Range: $21.88 - $29.13 - $32.04
