Job Description
U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Automation Engineer in Irving, Texas.
Essential Responsibilities:
The Automation Engineer will test, create, implement and support robotics processes and desktop automations. Design, develop, support, and maintain BDD automation framework for various Salesforce organization applications using Java, Java Script, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, Maven, Junit, IntelliJ and Gitlab technologies. Integrate automation framework with Browser stack, reporting portal, CI/CD pipeline setup using Jenkins and run the Daily smoke suites, regression suites on different operating systems and browsers. Lead the technical design and creation of highly complex, cross functional, multi platform solutions using existing and emerging automation platforms and complimentary capabilities. Work on feasibility assessments of new automation opportunities and determine best approach and impact of automation. Develop high level, detailed as-is and to-be process flows using existing and emerging automation platforms and complimentary capabilities. Automate business end-to-end scenarios for various US bank salesforce applications like CCRM, BCRM, GFS, IF, PrecisionLender and nCino applications. Identify and oversee execution of opportunities for process and automation improvements over existing manual processes and works with stakeholders to determine feasibility of these alternate solutions. Create comprehensive test plans and test cases; defines automation data needs across systems and creates a plan to coordinate this test data; creates and executes performance tests to ensure the expected automation performance levels are achieved. Designs, implements, executes, and maintains both manual and automated tests for US Bank Salesforce applications; assists in various types of testing, including functional, regression, smoke, exploratory and acceptance; creates and maintains processes and best practices, standards, and upgrade documentation. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of worksite location. Multiple Openings.
Basic Qualifications:
Requires at least a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Applied Computer Science or Computer Science plus 5 years of experience as a Test Lead, Software Engineer, or related.
Required Skills/Experience:
Requires at least a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Applied Computer Science or Computer Science plus 5 years of experience as a Test Lead, Software Engineer, or related. Must possess 5 years of experience with each of the following skills: (a) Data and process modeling; (b) Application design and architecture; (c) Change controls and robotics suites; (d) Integrating frameworks with browser stacks and running daily smoke and regression suites on different operating systems and browsers; (e) Designing and developing automated Quality Assurance (QA) summary reports; (f) Designing and developing API automation scripts; (g) Responsible for designing automation frameworks and script development using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber; (h) Working with all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC); (i) Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery process/set ups (CI/CD); (j) Overseeing all QA and testing activities for test planning and execution, including addressing blocks or issues affecting progress and working all defects associated with application under test to closure; (k) Utilizing all the following: Agile Software Development, Java, Selenium, Cucumber, Jenkins, and Windows Operating System.
