U.S. Bank is seeking a full-time Software Engineer – Agile Software Development (Multiple openings) in Irving, TX. The Software Engineer – Agile Software Development is responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of best in class software experiences. This role works with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles. Specific duties include: (1) building Salesforce products for Corporate and Commercial Business lines using Salesforce Configuration, Customization and Integrations; (2) leveraging Object Oriented Programming within salesforce using Apex and using Code Quality tools including Checkmarx to ensure quality of the code being developed is up to U.S. Bank standards; (3) designing and developing the software system as per the reviewed and approved design specifications and approved technology as well as writing code adhering to the coding standards and best practices; (4) providing design, development and test estimates for Salesforce Implementation projects and preparing architectural artifacts including System/Data flow diagrams, Design documents and solution approach documents.; (5) using Git Version Control Systems and continuous integration/continuous delivery(CI/CD) workflows within salesforce using Jenkins to develop and deploy new functionality for business teams using Agile methodology along with VScode SFDX; (6) implementing automations using Workflows, Process Builders and Flows on the Salesforce Platform, implementing Batch jobs and BULK API to handle large volume data operations, and deploying Salesforce components using tools including ANT migration, Copado, and Flosum to support customer success in troubleshooting Salesforce issues; (7) working on Data upload tasks in production environment by using Apex Dataloader by extracting the data from ETL tools including Hogan; (8) designing and developing software systems per the reviewed and approved design specifications and writing code adhering to the coding standards, and reviewing Apex Code to ensure Salesforce platform best practices are followed; (9) integrating salesforce platform with precision lender managed package; (10) following Agile methodology in implementing customer relationship management processes using Salesforce platform; (11) setting up salesforce environment from scratch includes creating a sandbox, refreshing the sandbox, designing the salesforce security model, object design, and configuration and configure and customize Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and experience Cloud to cater to business requirements; and (12) implementing custom user Interface using Lightning Web Components, Lightning flows, Lightning Aura Components and implementing real time integrations with Salesforce platform using REST API, SOAP API, Platform Events and Streaming API.

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems. Employer will accept a 3-year or 4-year bachelor’s degree and 5 years (progressive, post-baccalaureate) software development experience.

Required Skills/Experience:


Must also have 24 months of experience with each of the following: (1) designing and developing software systems per the reviewed and approved design specifications and writing code adhering to the coding standards and reviewing Apex Code to ensure Salesforce platform best practices are followed; (2) following Agile methodology in implementing customer relationship management processes using Salesforce platform; (3) providing design, development and test estimates for Salesforce Implementation projects and preparing architectural artifacts including System/Data flow diagrams, Design documents and solution approach documents; (4) setting up salesforce environment from scratch includes creating a sandbox, refreshing the sandbox, designing the salesforce security model, object design, and configuration and configure and customize Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and experience Cloud to cater to business requirements; (5) implementing custom user Interface using Lightning Web Components, Lightning flows, Lightning Aura Components and implementing real time integrations with Salesforce platform using REST API, SOAP API, Platform Events and Streaming API; and (6) implementing automations using Workflows, Process Builders and Flows on the Salesforce Platform, implementing Batch jobs and BULK API to handle large volume data operations, and deploying Salesforce components using tools including ANT migration, Copado, and Flosum to support customer success in troubleshooting Salesforce issues. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently.
