U.S. Bank is seeking a full-time Software Engineer – Frontend UI (Multiple openings) in Irving, TX.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Developing front-end applications for Clients using modern front-end Technologies e.g. React, Bootstrap, TypeScript, and Visual Studio with modern tools Visual Studio Code, IntelliJ, Jenkins, and Azure.
  • Responsible for designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining Web Applications using React.js and Angular.
  • Working on the accessibility requirements for the website, with a focus on improving readability, utility, and overall user experience.
  • Working with Agile methodology including iterative application development, weekly sprints, stand up meetings and reporting backlogs.
  • Developing new features, fixing bugs, and communicating changes to the QA team.
  • Working with backend developers to add features to GraphQl and Restful applications.
  • Integrating with RESTful APIs and respective UI Integration.
  • Writing unit test cases.
  • Managing source code using source code management tools, ticketing systems, and wikis for collaboration on code, e.g., Jira, Confluence, GIT.
  • Implementing secure authorization methods such as JWT.
  • Performing work using the following tools/technologies: JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model; data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js); RESTful APIs; code versioning tools (GIT, TFS); Webpack, NPM, Node, Babel or other similar technologies.

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, or Computer Engineering and 5 years (progressive, post-baccalaureate) frontend software development experience in UI development of interactive/web technologies.

Required Skills/Experience:

Must also have 24 months of experience with each of the following: 1) Developing business applications using technologies including JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model; data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js); RESTful APIs; code versioning tools (GIT, TFS); Webpack, NPM, Node, and Babel. 2) Developing and creating UI/UX design using third party tools including React Bootstrap and TypeScript. 3) Utilizing Jenkins and Azure to deploy code in different environments. 4) Managing source code using source code management tools, including Jira, Confluence, and GIT, for collaboration on code. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently.

This position is with U.S. Bank National Association, a U.S. Bank company.

Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $123,635 - $155,000. (#LI-NDI #LI-DNI #LI-DNP #DE-DNP).
