Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Principal Information Security Engineer (multiple positions) in Atlanta, GA.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide security insights during the design phase.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams and conduct comprehensive code reviews to integrate security considerations early in the development lifecycle.
  • Integrate security checks into the CI/CD pipeline to detect and address vulnerabilities early.
  • Embed security practices in the development process.
  • Implement and maintain security tools for containerized environments, including scanning for vulnerabilities and enforcing runtime security policies.
  • Monitor application runtime for suspicious activities and enforce robust security practices to protect code and infrastructure.
  • Continuously detect and respond to threats in real-time.
  • Ensure the security posture of cloud environments by monitoring and mitigating potential risks and vulnerabilities, maintaining an ongoing focus on overall security.
  • Manage cloud security posture by continuously monitoring for misconfigurations and ensuring compliance with industry standards such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and SOC.
  • Automate threat detection and response processes, integrating alerts with incident management systems to streamline workflows and improve incident response times.

Basic Qualifications:

Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, followed by 5 years in a progressively responsible Software Developer, or related, occupation.

Required Skills/Experience:
Must include 3 years of experience with each of the following:

Automate security testing and integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines; AWS, Azure, GCP (Google Cloud Platform), and Prisma Cloud; Docker and Kubernetes; Akamai API Gateway, Akamai Neosec, Apigee, GraphQL, and REST APIs; and Terraform, JSON, JWT, and YAML.

Teams may work from home and the office. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $149,760 - $164,100 (#LI-NDI #LI-DNI #LI-DNP #DE-DNP).
