Job Description

The Global Learning and Development team is hiring a Trainer! The Global Learning and Development Training team is hiring in anticipation of an upcoming retirement. The team focuses on needs of the Enterprise but may also train on topics related to Consumer and Business Banking, Card, and Contact Centers. In this role, you’ll join a team of 10 nationwide Trainers. The team is looking to add a Trainer in Charlotte, NC to help meet training needs in the local market and the broader Eastern region. As a Trainer, you’ll facilitate to classes averaging 15-30 people although the size of classes may vary depending on needs. Trainings are primarily conducted via Microsoft Teams, but some are delivered in person. The team focuses on facilitating dynamic learning experiences that meet the needs of learners. Successful trainers apply adult learning principles to engage their audiences, build rapport, leverage technology, and communicate clearly and effectively. As a Trainer, you’ll coordinate session logistics associated with planning learning events such as roster management, monitoring training rooms and appropriate technology and communications. Trainers leverage learner feedback, survey data to improve learner experience.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related field, or equivalent work experience (Adult Education/Learning)

- Four or more years of learning & development, HR, or business experience

- Ability to travel up to 20%

Preferred Skills/Experience

- Experience facilitating to varying class sizes of adult learners in a corporate setting, both virtually and in person

- Microsoft suite expertise, especially Teams is preferred

- Thorough understanding of adult learning practices, and learning sciences particularly in the areas of training and facilitation methods

- Proficient dynamic facilitation skills for various audiences

- Ability to set and meet goals and action plans

- Ability to interpret data to create actionable training plans based on insights

- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days. The role requires ability to travel up to 20%.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $32.16 - $42.88 - $47.17
