Job Description
We are seeking a self-motivated and curious Investment Account Research Specialist to join our Clearance team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to investment clients and internal partners by resolving operational issues, managing requests, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role serves as a key liaison between clients, back-office staff, and front-office representatives, supporting the operational processing of investment-related products and services. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update security master systems, including setting up new records and desks for Capital Markets clients.
Assist with setups related to Capital Markets underwriting and ensure accurate entry of trade-related data across multiple systems.
Support reporting functions that help clients deliver securities and raise funding for capital projects.
Ensure all pertinent trade information is accurately entered into systems to enable trading activity.
Research and resolve operational issues, ensuring timely and accurate responses to clients and internal teams.
Act as a point of contact for compliance-related questions and operational inquiries.
Follow up with internal and external stakeholders to ensure resolution of issues and adherence to service level agreements.
Document all activities and maintain accurate records of operational processes.
Engage with 10–15 different systems to locate, verify, and input data.
Manage high-volume workloads and respond to last-minute requests with precision and attention to detail.
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Typically five or more years of relevant work experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
Strong operational knowledge of all investments operations’ functions, including thorough knowledge of industry rules and regulations
Thorough understanding of investments operations such as brokerage, trust or retirement investments
Strong customer service skills
Capable of identifying minor differences in data and making informed decisions without confusion.
Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple task/projects and deadlines simultaneously
Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
Comfortable working across multiple systems and adaptable to training in new platforms.
Well-developed planning, problem-solving and organizational skills
Ability to identify and resolve/escalate problems
In working with certain investment products, FINRA licensing may be required

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
