Job Description

The Head of Enterprise Data Product Enablement and Execution is responsible for driving the successful delivery, adoption, and operationalization of data products across the organization. This leader will collaborate with data engineering, analytics, product management, and business units to ensure data products are scalable, valuable, and seamlessly integrated into business processes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on program execution and organizational enablement to unlock the full potential of data as a product.

Enablement:

  • Champion the adoption of data products across business units by developing training, documentation, and onboarding processes
  • Work with business stakeholders to identify use cases and define value metrics for data product adoption
  • Develop frameworks and playbooks for data product lifecycle management (from ideation to deprecation)
  • Create and manage a Data Product Center of Excellence (CoE) to support organizational knowledge and best practices

Execution:

  • Lead Data Engineering teams to deliver high-impact data products on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives
  • Drive operational excellence through agile delivery methods, roadmap planning, and program governance
  • Monitor performance of data products and ensure continuous improvement based on feedback and business outcomes
  • Own execution metrics and KPIs related to data product delivery, adoption, and ROI

Leadership & Strategy:

  • Partner with data and business leadership to shape and execute the enterprise data product strategy
  • Influence data architecture, platform investments, and tooling in support of scalable product development
  • Advocate for data product thinking across the organization, promoting a culture of data ownership and productization
  • Manage a team of product enablement specialists, data product manager and data engineers

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in data, analytics, product management, or a related field, with at least 8-10 years in a leadership capacity
  • Proven track record of managing and scaling data product initiatives in complex, matrixed organizations
  • Deep understanding of data platforms, modern data stack tools and data governance
  • Deep understanding of cloud services, both SaaS and PaaS solutions
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with agile delivery methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
  • Excellent communication, change management, and executive reporting skills
  • Travel required approximately 10-15% within the United States
  • The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $214,795.00 - $252,700.00
