Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Agilist – Payments Agile Coaching and Enablement in Englewood, CO.

Essential Responsibilities:

The Agilist – Payments Agile Coaching and Enablement will support part of the Corporate Payment Systems within the Payments Organization at U.S. Bank. The Agilist will be responsible for the following: guiding multiple Agile teams through their journey and help drive Agile transformation across products and lines of business; facilitating daily team meetings for two bankcard agile teams to discuss progress, impediments, and plans for the day for Access Online application, which is a secure, easy-to-use app that provides anytime access to your U.S. Bank Commercial Card accounts; facilitating Quarterly Planning sessions and work with the product managers of two teams to define the OKRs (Objectives and Key results) for Access Online Mobile app, Card Management, and Product ID Management teams; organizing and leading sprint planning sessions to define the goals, scope, and tasks for the upcoming sprint for two teams in the Bank card group; coordinating sprint reviews to showcase completed work to the bankcard stakeholders and gather feedback; facilitating retrospectives to reflect on the sprint, identifying improvements, and enhancing team performance; ensuring that user feedback from reviews, ratings, and analytics are incorporated into the product catalog, improving app features, usability, and overall user experience; encouraging automation of mobile testing, build processes, and app deployment, ensuring efficient delivery through platforms like Fastlane, App Center; working with other departments or teams (Travel Bank, Elavon) within the bank to resolve issues that affect the Scrum team’s productivity; assisting the team to focus on scalability and Performance improvement of the Bank Card APIs, ensuring that APIs can handle growing user and transaction loads; tracking team performance and progress through metrics such as velocity, burn-down charts, and other relevant tools for the Corporate Payment System Technology (CPTS) teams; working with the team to manage API versioning and ensuring backward compatibility when releasing new API features, minimizing disruption for Access Online customers; promoting and facilitating Agile adoption, methodologies within the organization that includes Bank card, Fleet, Freight, Payments. Conduct Agile Scrum discussions in line with Professional Scrum Master Certification methodology. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of worksite location. Basic Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Administration, or Commerce plus 3 years of experience as an Agilist, Scrum Master, or related. Employer will accept a three–or four-year degree as meeting the bachelor’s degree requirement.

Required Skills/Experience:
Must possess 3 years of experience with each of the following: leading Agile teams; leading Agile transformation initiatives by coaching teams on Scrum and Kanban methodologies to enhance productivity and delivering value-driven outcomes; facilitating scrum ceremonies; ensuring that teams and stakeholders are working effectively to achieve business objectives and utilizing high quality standards to deliver work product; facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives; coaching teams on Agile/Scrum principles and values; coaching teams in self-management and cross-functionality; coordinating and managing the release between teams; identifying and removing impediments and blockers that interfere with a team’s ability to deliver against their commitments; ensuring successful delivery of large impact and cross-functional initiatives; bridging gap between abstract project concepts and actionable deliverables; providing metrics to stakeholders to analyze agile effectiveness and processes; implementing Kanban practices to visualize work progress, manage flow, improve cycle time, and ensure optimal workload management and reduced bottlenecks; monitoring sprint progress using Jira and Confluence; and providing real-time updates to stakeholders and leveraging metrics to analyze Agile effectiveness. Must be Certified Scrum Master (CSM). Employer will accept candidates with any suitable combination of education, training, and experience. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of worksite location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $97,677 - $182,900.
