Job Description

Overview

As a Fee Analyst, you’ll play a key role in analyzing and interpreting fee schedules and agreements for Wealth Management & Investment Services (WM&IS) accounts, with a focus on the European business line. In this position, you’ll ensure accurate fee coding, billing, and revenue posting, all while supporting high-quality client service and compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies. You’ll work within the Global Fee Management Admin team, managing inbound fee set up and maintenance requests for client invoicing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, code, and process fee requests received through the team’s workflow system; ensure timely and accurate invoices for client accounts.
  • Meet service level agreements (SLA: 5 business days), conduct peer reviews, and return incomplete submissions as needed.
  • Collaborate with other analysts, relationship managers, European middle office, and European tax teams to resolve complex fee and tax issues.
  • Analyze trends, lead and participate in process improvement projects, and maintain high standards of accuracy and accountability.
  • Build partnerships across teams, communicate openly, and balance policy requirements with client needs.
  • Demonstrate understanding of policy, procedures and adherence to controls required to conduct business activities.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • One or more years of financial industry related experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills
  • Excellent customer relations and communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to assess requests critically, work independently and collaboratively, and adapt to changing volumes and priorities
  • Experience managing projects, resolving client issues, and navigating ambiguous situations
  • Familiarity with trust and securities operations, fee billing/coding, and European regulatory requirements

Location Expectations

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $64,855.00 - $76,300.00
