Operations aims to optimize the experience for our employees, clients, and partners by delivering services that are easy, innovative, and collaborative. With a focus on trust and efficiency, our teams of more than 18,000 employees deliver optimal experiences with a relentless focus on improving service while managing risks, costs, and protecting product value.

What you’ll do

Our Operations Rotation Development Program ensures that high potential college new hires have deep immersion into three distinct areas of Operations over 2.5 years. Each three ten-month rotation equips new hires with hands-on work where they will learn the knowledge and skills critical to excel within Operations, and graduate from the program with comprehensive and well-rounded capabilities necessary to be fungible and successful in a variety of career paths within Operations. Examples of departments in scope for this program include, but are not limited to, Consumer Banking, Treasury, Transaction Processing, Wealth, Commercial and Institutional Banking, and Client Service Centers. In addition to accelerating capabilities through the diversified rotations, analysts will also accelerate their knowledge through supplemental development training among their cohort of program peers and mentorship specifically designed to help support their transition from college into the bank.

As an Operations Development Program Analyst, you may embark on:

  • Operations development and administration
  • Process mapping, management, and execution
  • Creating process efficiencies
  • Interest in data analytics
  • Relationship management
  • Problem-solving and reconciliation
  • End-to-end lifecycle of transaction management

Basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree completed prior to start date
  • Basic understanding of financial terms, concepts, and applications
  • Ability to start fulltime development program on July 13, 2026

Strong interest in operations and data analytics

Exceptional communication and presentation skills

Strong work ethic with a proactive, flexible attitude and a desire to pitch in wherever needed

Developed problem solving skills and a solutions-focused approach to addressing challenges

Unwavering integrity and ethics

Proficient in Office 365, with strong skills in Excel

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $60,435.00 - $71,100.00
