Job Description

As a Treasury Administration Analyst 3, you will be assigned to an operational servicing team who helps support the day-to-day treasury operations of exchange-traded funds (“ETF”), mutual funds and/or closed end funds. As a Treasury Administration Analyst 3, you will spend key time:

  • Reviewing calculations, projected income and capital gain distribution estimates for clients.
  • Monitoring and reviewing the overall distribution process for clients, comprising accurate and timely calculations, reconciliations and payment of dividends and capital gains for ETF and mutual fund products.
  • Validate distribution rates, components, and tax classifications (e.g., ordinary income, qualified dividends, capital gains, return of capital) and review vendor reporting and income projections.
  • Collaborating with fund administrators, tax administrators, fund accountants, transfer agents, custodians, index providers and exchanges.
  • Support daily financial operations for ETF and mutual fund products by overseeing invoice processing, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring accurate allocation of fund expenses.
  • Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with internal controls.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external service providers.
  • Helping lead the coordination of projects, mentor teammates, use problem-solving skills and communicate effectively with mid-level and senior-level Fund Administrators.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
- Five to seven years of related work experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Proven knowledge of ETFs, mutual funds, other investments and security types
  • Keen understanding of accounting principles
  • Acknowledgement of ethics and compliance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Organized and attentive to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Ability to perform under tight deadlines
  • Process-oriented mindset with interest in automation and workflow improvement
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer navigation skills
  • Intermediate to expert Microsoft Excel ability
  • Willingness to learn new and sometimes complex concepts

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $75,820.00 - $89,200.00
