Job Summary
This role provides operational, administrative, and reporting support within Mortgage Servicing and Investor Reporting. The position is responsible for reviewing, validating, and processing mortgage servicer remittance data; resolving loan‑level exceptions; completing reconciliations; and ensuring accurate, timely reporting to internal stakeholders and investors.
The role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and investor requirements, while supporting monthly reporting cycles, audit preparation, and ongoing communication with loan servicers and internal business partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, format, and load Mortgage Servicer remittance files into SBO.NET (Master Servicing system).
- Work directly with loan servicers to research, identify, and resolve loan‑level data variances and exceptions.
- Compile, validate, and retain required backup documentation within the Servicer Package.
- Assist with deal‑level reconciliations of Trust reports and distribute finalized reports to internal partners.
- Complete monthly loan‑level reconciliations and support quarterly and annual audit requests.
- Perform research, exception processing, data entry, record keeping, and ongoing data maintenance.
- Review reports, loan files, and procedures to ensure quality execution of loan operations and accuracy of transactions impacting financial statements.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, regulatory standards, and investor guidelines.
- Communicate frequently with loan servicers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues, clarify data discrepancies, and meet reporting deadlines.
- Utilize PC‑based software tools including Excel, databases, and reporting systems to support operational and reporting needs.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Five or more years of experience in business and general office environment
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Experience in mortgage servicing, loan operations, investor reporting, or financial operations.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and data retrieval skills.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, research, and resolve data exceptions.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to ensure accuracy in high‑volume, deadline‑driven environments.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Well‑developed verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact frequently with external servicers and internal business partners.
- Knowledge of SBO.NET, SBO2000, Master Servicing, Investor Reporting, or Default Oversight is highly desired.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and documentation skills.
- Ability to interpret data, follow established procedures, and apply regulatory and internal standards consistently.
Location Expectations:
This role requires working from the West Side Flats, MN location three (3) days a week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
