Job Description
Responsible for providing credit analysis and portfolio support for agricultural and agribusiness clients.. Analyzes financial information to support credit decisions, monitor risk, and ensure compliance with bank policy and regulatory standards across an agricultural loan portfolio.
Supports Relationship Managers and Credit Officers by preparing financial spreads, cash flow analysis, collateral evaluations, and credit memorandums for new loan requests, renewals, modifications, and ongoing portfolio management. Loan exposure may include operating lines of credit, term loans, real estate‑secured loans, equipment financing, and other agriculture‑specific credit products.
Develops an understanding of agricultural production cycles, commodity markets, and seasonal cash flow patterns, and applies this knowledge when assessing borrower repayment capacity and risk. Works collaboratively with relationship teams to address credit questions, covenant monitoring, and portfolio reviews.

Preferred Skills / Experience
Knowledge of agricultural lending and agribusiness operations, including crop and livestock production, ag real estate, and equipment financing
Experience spreading and analyzing agricultural financial statements, including tax returns and cash‑flow‑based borrowing capacity
Understanding of collateral structures common in ag lending (real estate, equipment, livestock, crops, and government program payments)
Familiarity with credit policy, risk ratings, covenant monitoring, and portfolio management practices
Strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with Relationship Managers and Credit Officers
Proficiency with financial spreading tools and credit systems
Background or education in agriculture or agribusiness strongly preferred
This role is posted remote; however, candidates who are located near any one of our locations would be required to work on site at least three days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $81,900.00 - $109,200.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
