Job Description

The Marketing Analytics and Technology team supports Business Unit Marketing and the Enterprise Analytics & Customer Experience (EACX) organization by helping teams understand how marketing performs across the bank. We focus on measuring, assessing, and clearly communicating marketing results to support growth and efficiency goals.

Within this group, the Marketing Analytics Product Owner team partners closely with analysts and marketers throughout the marketing lifecycle. The team provides shared data, tools, frameworks, and centralized reporting to help teams analyze performance, generate insights, and support channel- and program-level measurement, including experimentation and testing.

As a BI Developer on the Marketing Analytics Product Owner team, you will help design and maintain reporting solutions that support marketing measurement and performance analysis. You will work alongside other BI developers to build and support dashboards, semantic models, and reporting assets that enable analysts and business partners to understand marketing results and trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that support marketing performance measurement.
  • Build and support semantic models and data transformations to ensure consistent and reliable metrics.
  • Partner with marketers, analysts, and product owners to understand reporting needs and translate them into effective visual solutions.
  • Help centralize and govern dashboards and reporting assets to improve consistency and reuse.
  • Monitor and improve data quality, performance, and usability of existing reports.
  • Support ongoing enhancements to marketing measurement, experimentation, and reporting processes.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Four to five years of statistical and/or data analytics experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with marketing data.
  • 1–3 years of experience in reporting and business intelligence, demonstrating progressive increase in responsibility and scope.
  • 1+ years of experience with Power BI, including strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
  • Ability to work efficiently with large and complex datasets.
  • Familiarity with SQL and other database technologies.
  • Experience with Azure Synapse or other cloud platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn new tools and techniques.
  • Solid project management and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as econometrics, computer science, engineering, or applied mathematics, or equivalent work experience.

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $92,820.00 - $109,200.00
