As a Business Technology Analyst 3, you’ll play a key role in bridging business and technology—helping deliver critical system changes, drive project execution, and support operational excellence within our GTSS Recon and Payment Team.

What you’ll do
In this role, you’ll spend the majority of your time leading and supporting project-based initiatives (80%), with additional exposure to operational processes (20% as needed).
Key Responsibilities:
Process & Systems Analysis
Analyze reconciliation and payment workflows to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and control risks
Partner with Operations and Technology to document current and future state processes
Conduct root-cause analysis on reconciliation breaks, payment exceptions, and system variances
Workflow & Operational Support
Monitor workflow health, prioritization, and exception trends
Develop and maintain reports, metrics, and dashboards (e.g., aging, SLA risks)
Coordinate issue resolution across cross-functional teams
System Releases, UAT & Change Support
Support system enhancements, releases, and migrations
Coordinate UAT including test planning, execution tracking, defect management, and reporting
Ensure operational readiness through documentation, training support, and post-release stabilization
Controls, Risk & Documentation
Maintain clear, audit-ready procedures and documentation
Partner with Risk, Finance, and Audit to support reviews and control testing
Identify control gaps and emerging risks
Collaboration & Communication
Act as liaison between Operations, Technology, and business partners
Communicate system and process impacts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Provide leadership with data-driven insights and recommendations

What we’re looking for
We’re seeking a mid-level professional who can operate independently, think critically, and confidently manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Three to five years of direct experience (with project lead experience), or five to eight years of related experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
Experience with requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and facilitating meetings
Strong knowledge of project management practices and testing methodologies (UAT)
Ability to develop and execute test plans and track/report defects
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority
Experience in or exposure to trade finance or financial systems (strongly preferred)
Familiarity with systems such as Trade 360, Wall Street FX, IT Hub, or reporting tools is a plus

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $71,400.00 - $84,000.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
