Middle Office Support is seeking multiple Support Bankers to join our credit and sales support teams within the Operational Enablement and Relationship Support groups. These teams support business lines including Global Industrials and Services (GIS), Specialized Industries, and Institutional Client Group (ICG) Credit.
This role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and timeliness. The Support Banker is expected to take ownership of assigned responsibilities, demonstrate accountability, and support the successful execution of client, operational, and regulatory requirements.
A core expectation of the role is to provide timely, reliable, and high-quality support that enables Relationship Managers (RMs) and Portfolio Managers (PMs) to meet client needs and production goals. Middle Office Support serves as a critical liaison between RMs, PMs, and key partners to help deliver a seamless end-to-end client experience.
Essential Functions:
Monitor assigned credit portfolios, including past dues, payments, loan document exceptions, collateral monitoring, and compliance requirements.
Apply working knowledge of credit and collateral monitoring to identify issues or irregularities and escalate matters appropriately.
Partner with RMs, PMs, and product teams to support client relationship activities and identify potential service needs.
Support operational activities, including loan pre-boarding and post-boarding tasks, overdrafts, and ACH suspensions.
Navigates various systems such as Web OD, nCino, Salesforce, HOGAN, AFS, and Treasury Management client platforms.
Perform RPMS maintenance and research to support accurate client and portfolio information.
Complete account maintenance, research, and resolution of internal inquiries with accuracy, responsiveness, and timeliness.
Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and applicable risk and control expectations.
Maintain accurate files and client records, including KYC, flood, appraisal, and regulatory documentation.
Contribute to a culture of accountability and ownership by ensuring deliverables are completed to standard and within required timelines.
Demonstrate initiative in building knowledge of credit, loan systems, and compliance processes, with an expectation of progressing toward higher-level responsibilities.
Basic Qualifications
Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Five or more years of experience in the financial services industry.
Preferred Skills/Experience
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies, maintain accurate records, and support compliance with policies and regulations.
Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with accountability for assigned responsibilities.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and department-specific systems (including nCino).
Willingness and ability to learn new systems, processes, and regulatory requirements.
Demonstrated reliability, initiative, and a strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment.
Location Expectations
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
