Job Description

About the Role:

The primary function of this role is to lead analytics, planning, executive reporting and communications related to software product delivery. You will report directly to the Senior Director and lead a team of four analysts. Your responsibilities include performing detailed data analytics related to product delivery and performance metrics, interpreting the data to create meaningful narratives for executive consumption, and defining division-wide processes to ensure consistent product delivery metrics and reports. You will collaborate with colleagues at all levels, from individual contributors to the Senior Vice President, to craft executive communications and convey information to effectively. You will coach and mentor your team members and guide them in their career development.

We seek a candidate with a passion for detailed analysis, who can grasp the true significance of data and articulate its narrative to an executive audience. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of managing complex initiatives, be self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of nurturing positive internal and external relationships. A high level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality is important in this role. The ability to assess information and situations and anticipate the needs of the management team is essential.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of analysts.

  • Rationalize data and processes across multiple product delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Kanban, Hybrid).

  • Provide ad hoc and recurring reports and other communications to stakeholders and executive management.

  • Support Technology planning initiatives through data collection, analysis and interpretation, and creation of presentations.

  • Provide reports to Management, Project Managers, and Finance to support project budget and resource management.

  • Act as a liaison, problem solver, and facilitator across various teams and locations.

  • Develop reports, dashboards, and operational metrics.

  • Provide analytics with a focus on continuous improvement and evolution to maximize decision making quality.

  • Lead financial forecasting, monitoring, and budget management activities.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree, OR 13+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD.
  • Project/Program Management experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication and project management skills, including a deep understanding of relevant tools like Jira Align, Clarity, Tableau, PowerPoint, Teams, Excel, SharePoint, Word, Wiki etc.
  • Experience in and understanding of financial systems such as Hyperion.
  • Experience in the Payments and/or Technology industry a plus.
  • Proven experience in effectively communicating technical and business issues and solutions to multiple organizational levels.
  • The ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 176,900.00 to 256,500.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
