As a Software Engineer, you will be part of our Acceptance Solutions org to help design, enhance, and build our transactional platform in an agile development environment. You will work on multiple projects ranging from building full stack development of real-time transactional services, REST services API, container-based micro-services to highly functional, secure, scalable, and resilient real-time payment systems. You will be involved in development, unit testing, code reviews, and regular check-ins to continuous integration. You will see the code written and moved to production within just a few days to a week, to then be used by a huge customer base including Facebook, Nike, FedEx, Apple, State Farm, to name a few.

Essential Functions:

  • You’ll use technologies that include Java, REST, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes etc.
  • As a Full stack Software Engineer you will help design, enhance, and build next generation products in an agile development environment.
  • You’ll develop and deliver new features regularly, ensuring they are functional, secure, scalable, and resilient.
  • You'll participate in development, unit testing, code reviews, and regular check-ins to continuous integration.
  • You'll analyze business requirements and architect a solution that is robust and scalable along with providing technical documentation of solution
  • You'll demonstrate proficiency with programming languages, code quality initiatives, scripting languages, and operating systems.
  • You are familiar with Generative AI (GENAI) tools and frameworks.
  • You have experience in commercial software development on Unix/Linux environment.
  • You have amazing work ethic that will help us all work extremely well together

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications
Associate: 2 or more years of work experience

• Experience in building backend applications using Java, Spring, REST API, RDBMS, NoSQL, Vertx, Kafka, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
• Good analytics and problem-solving skills with a solid foundation in algorithms, data structures, and common design patterns.
• Proficiency with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery using automation tools and container management.
• Familiarity with Generative AI (GENAI) tools and frameworks within software development projects.
• Experience with TDD using JUNIT/functional automation testing and tools.
• Experience delivering software projects and solutions effectively through Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Ability to work well in a team and independently.
