Job Description
We are seeking a Workday Integration Specialist to join our People Technology team. This role blends strong Workday integration and functional configuration expertise with deep business acumen to support and enhance our HR technology landscape. The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering end-to-end Workday solutions, supporting global HR operations, and ensuring operational excellence in system integration, configuration, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Integration & Configuration
Troubleshoot and maintain Workday integrations using EIB, PECI/PICOF, Workday Studio, and ensure successful execution of scheduled and event-driven integrations.
Troubleshoot functional issues reported on Workday modules including HCM, Time & Absence, Payroll, Compensation, and Talent.
Manage the integration lifecycle in accordance with SDLC standards and best practices.
Functional & Business Support
Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to deliver training, user support, and documentation for business users.
Partner with Cybersecurity to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Engage with stakeholders and CI (Configuration Item) owners to ensure CMDB accuracy and compliance.
Reporting & Analysis
Troubleshoot custom and advanced Workday reports using RaaS and calculated fields.
Interpret complex data into actionable business insights and reporting.
Monitor system health and proactively identify anomalies or inefficiencies.
IT Operations & Governance
Partner with infrastructure and development teams on patching, vulnerability remediation, and operational compliance.
Support IAM and data privacy policies across Workday and related systems.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
Participate in internal audits and ensure adherence to ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management).
Complete application risk assessments and maintain security/privacy documentation.
Coordinate with vendors and resiliency teams for DR (Disaster Recovery) planning and service impact assessments.
Execute IAM tasks including access reviews and entitlement management.
Manage patching and remediation in coordination with infrastructure/security teams.
Support audit resolution and track non-compliance issues.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, HR Technology,
or a related field.
-6+ years of Workday experience, including integration and functional support.
-Proficiency in EIB, Studio, PECI/PICOF, and reporting tools.
-Strong knowledge of IT operations, GRC, and SDLC processes.
-Experience with CMDB tools and ITIL practices.
-Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
-Workday certification(s) in Integration, HCM, or Reporting.
-Experience in a global, enterprise HRIS or IT environment.
-Familiarity with GDPR and risk management frameworks.
-Exposure to tools such as ServiceNow, Qualys, and data privacy platforms.
