Job Description

Visa Technology & Operations LLC, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Director (multiple openings) in Highlands Ranch, CO to:

  • Responsible for end-to-end program and portfolio management within Visa's Infrastructure as a Service team with alignment to strategic business objectives for Data and Al.
  • Engage a team of program and project managers with a focus on motivation, coaching, and developing the team on how to expertly achieve program goals, deliver solutions for the Data and Al applications team, and successfully track, manage, and communicate across the program management, infrastructure engineering, and Data and Al teams.
  • Create an outstanding program management culture, working with all team members to monitor and effectively manage programs and projects within the portfolio, working to deliver infrastructure to support Data and Al business objectives, and to manage program and project risks, and adhere to governance requirements.
  • Drive productivity through program management fundamentals, framework and best practices. Collaborate across functional groups including internal stakeholders (Product Managers, Engineers, Architects, Service Designers, etc.), and external customers and vendors to formalize program and project roadmaps & priorities to plan, design, build, and deliver hardware and software infrastructure for platforms and solutions to meet a deadline.
  • Responsible for managing project scope and change control, creating accurate and inclusive estimates, management of program budgets vs actual spend, and project schedules, while proactively mitigating risks that could impact milestones and deliverables.
  • Drive clear, concise, and actionable meetings that bring the right partners to the table and drive decision-making.
  • Lead technical discussions and communicate regularly with senior leadership on technical issues, program status, and escalations.
  • Provide leadership and oversight of program and portfolio performance and financials and ensure compliance with management and information security policies.
  • Work with virtual teams located in different time zones and with differing cultures.
  • Use abilities to positively influence customers and stakeholders, and properly manage divergent expectations.
  • Position reports to the Employer’s Highlands Ranch, Colorado office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field followed by 10 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in an IT Project Manager-related occupation.
  • Position requires experience in the following:
    • Solution Architecture practices enabling infrastructure (HW/SW) design, development, and deployment.
    • Technical Program and Project Management.

Additional Information

Worksite: Highlands Ranch, CO

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $151,600.00 USD to $242,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
