Job Description

CyberSource Corporation, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Director (multiple openings) in Foster City, CA to
• Support the Risk & Identity Solutions team by designing, enhancing, and building Visa’s transactional fraud detection engine in an agile development environment.
• Spearhead development of next generation software based on machine learning and deep learning.
• Act as the face of the Team representing Visa in various technical leadership forums.
• Assist our customers achieve their business goals by understanding their requirements.
• Build deep partnerships with product management to ensure products deliver real value.
• Leverage machine learning and AI to evolve Fraud Management product suite.
• Analyze business requirements and architect highly secure, robust, and scalable solutions.
• Drive internal proof of concept initiatives.
• Design and implement a prototype of a system or component with a proper architecture, and then lead or hand over to engineering team to implement.
• Build relationships with key architects across technology organizations and collaborate on promoting architectural best practices across technology.
• Introduce new technologies to build the next generation of Risk Services.
• Champion efforts to architect, design, and implement various components of our global transaction processing systems.
• Responsible for following and creating software best practices and processes.
• Coach and mentor team members and help them grow professionally, creating and atmosphere of mutual accountability.
• Lead meetings and discussion with cross-functional and non-technical teams.
• Position reports to the Employers Foster City, California office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field and 12 years of progressive, post baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a Director-related occupation.
• Guiding or leading teams that have delivered high quality large scale enterprise class applications.
• Agile development incorporating continuous integration and continuous deliver (CI/CD), utilizing Git, Maven, Jenkins, Sonar, JUnit, and/or Checkmarx.
• Security analysis, including code and data flow review.
• Implementing and verifying secure coding techniques.
• Understanding requirements and independent architecting, designing, and building the solution.

Additional Information

Worksite: Foster City, CA

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $215,197.00 USD to $283,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for an annual bonus and equity.
