JOB DUTIES
Deploy, configure and manage the WebCenter tools and the Weblogic Server

Utilize existing or new technology to assist in the automation of processes to monitor
and diagnose system health issues, drive triage to resolve problems and making sure
operations are running without issue

Provide administrative functions (maintenance, performance tuning/optimization,
governance, troubleshooting, etc.) for Oracle WebCenter tools + Weblogic Server as
needed
End to end process of deploying Java EE Applications to Weblogic Server

Partner with Engineering, Services and Support to improve the system processes and
provide required support with day to day operations

Creation and improvement of automation + alerting scripts. Optimize installation of
critical security patch updates from Oracle
Participate in defining CI/CD and automation initiatives

Provide required on-call support for rotating application deployments and 24/7
Operational support
Writing shell scripts and WLST scripts to automate processes.

Publish and maintain internal documentation related to services offered, content
management configurations and permission groups
Knowledge of basic networking including firewall rules, ports, database links.
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years experience hands on, administering the Oracle Webcenter tools and Weblogic Server.
4+ Years observability (logging, alerting, dashboard, APM) tool such as NewRelic, Splunk, Dynatrace and Datadog
3+ Years of experience in DevOps engineering, providing support and maintaining a 24x7 production Hybrid (cloud and on premise) environment
3+ years programming and scripting experience, bash, Python or similar
Ability to analyze thread and heap dumps to troubleshoot performance issues
Experience migrating applications to cloud environment
Experience administering Oracle DBMS and/or Oracle Fusion is a plus

Relevant Oracle Certifications (such as Oracle Certified Associate (OCA), WebLogic Server
or higher) are a strong plus
Experience with GitLab, Jira, Confluence
Demonstrated ability implementing secure solutions in a cloud environment
Must be willing to work west coast time (PST)
Should possess very strong written and verbal communication skills
