Summary of this Role:
Develops, configures, documents, and maintains information security solutions. Installing and configuring web proxies, intrusion detection systems, endpoint monitoring software, and vulnerability scanning systems in public cloud like AWS, GCP, Azure is a must. Ensures that threats and vulnerabilities to the organization’s business systems and applications (both in-house and cloud-based) are minimized. Manages encryption protocols to protect the organization's data as well as management of authentication and access controls. Evaluates information security configurations when intrusions have occurred and monitors the effectiveness of implemented changes. Monitors overall compliance with security standards and conducts periodic security reviews.
What Part Will You Play?
Delivers secure solutions and/or secure remediation solutions for highly complex projects to the enterprise with intermediate technical applications included.
Installs tools to specifically secure each level within the security framework for highly complex projects.
Provide evidence as requested, to support audit and compliance initiatives.
Collaborate with internal engineering partners to support the design of security solutions.
Provide secondary support for other security tools and technologies.
Continue self-development of knowledge, skills, and abilities
Develop a personal support network by developing and building relationships throughout the Information Security and Business Technology Services groups.
Develop effective teamwork and leadership skills Investigates intrusion incidents, conducts forensic investigations for highly complex projects and provides incident responses.
What Are We Looking for in This Role?
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information security, or information systems with relevant security engineering certifications.
Bring prescriptive guidance in ensuring Global Payments receive the best of what Google Cloud Platform can offer and you will ensure that customers have the best experience in migrating, building, modernizing, and maintaining applications in Google Cloud Platform.
In this role, you will provide technical guidance to Global Payments Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
Experience with Jenkins, Git, Terraform, Shell scripting, Ansible and other dev ops tools and its use in public cloud is a must.
Experience working with Cloud proxy, IDS/IPS and cloud native and non-native security tools is a plus.
Follow best practices for GCP on secure foundational cloud implementations, automated provisioning of infrastructure and applications, cloud-ready application architectures, and more.
Experience working with multiple operating systems, with expert knowledge of Linux.
Hands on experience working within a cloud-enabled environment, such as Google, AWS, Azure and deploying cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform, shell scripting, gcloud etc.
Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management Tools & Container Security tools like Prisma Cloud, Wiz etc is a plus.
Experience with SIEM logging tools like Splunk.
One or more of the following-CISSP, CISA, CISM, PCI-QSA, PA-QSA, PCIP, CRISC, CGEIT

Experience working within a cloud-enabled environment, such as GCP, Azure, AWS
Skills / Knowledge - Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Some barriers to entry exist at this level (e.g., dept./peer review).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in a globally dispersed, team-oriented, collaborative, matrix-oriented environment.
Demonstrated experience working with scripting languages (i.e., Python, Perl, etc.) Combining with writing API queries.
3-5 years of terraform experience with deployment of compute resources in GCP/Azure/AWS with primary focus on GCP is a must.
3-5 years of Linux OS/Windows OS and PowerShell and bash shell scripting experience is a must.
Experience managing infrastructure using Ansible.
Experience using Jenkins or maven to build the application and integrate the CI/CD Pipeline
Technical industry acumen - Knowledge of Industry regulatory audit requirements and solutions and Authentication, authorization, and encryption solutions
