Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of AI Enablement & Governance to lead our genAI initiatives and ensure their alignment with business goals, ethical considerations, and regulatory requirements. As the leader of the AI Enablement & Governance team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of AI technologies, specifically genAI, establishing best practices, and overseeing the responsible and compliant use of AI across our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
AI Strategy: Develop and lead the implementation of a comprehensive AI strategy that aligns with business objectives and supports innovation across various departments.
Governance Framework: Establish governance processes, policies, and guidelines that ensure the ethical use of AI, data privacy, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
AI Enablement: Collaborate with business units to identify AI opportunities, assess feasibility, and provide guidance on incorporating AI into their processes and solutions.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, engineers, legal teams, and business leaders to create a collaborative environment that fosters AI adoption while mitigating risks.
AI Education: Lead efforts to educate and raise awareness about AI concepts, benefits, and risks within the organization, ensuring a clear understanding across all levels.
Ethics and Bias Mitigation: Implement measures to address algorithmic biases, ethical concerns, and fairness in AI systems, promoting responsible AI development and deployment.
AI Standards and Best Practices: Define and communicate AI development standards, best practices, and guidelines for data collection, model training, validation, and monitoring.
Risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential risks associated with AI initiatives, taking proactive steps to mitigate these risks and ensure compliance.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay current with evolving AI-related regulations and standards, ensuring our AI initiatives adhere to legal requirements in data handling, privacy, and more.
Performance Measurement: Develop metrics and frameworks to measure the effectiveness and impact of AI projects, tracking progress towards strategic objectives.
Vendor Management: Oversee partnerships with external AI vendors, ensuring that their solutions align with our governance framework and deliver value to the organization.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of AI experts, fostering their growth, collaboration, and expertise in AI governance and enablement.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
Experience: Significant experience (10+ years) in AI strategy, governance, or a related leadership role in technology, data science, or AI projects.
AI Expertise: In-depth understanding of AI technologies, machine learning, and data analytics, with a focus on both technical and ethical considerations.
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with AI-related regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and their implications for AI development and deployment.
Ethical AI: Demonstrated commitment to promoting ethical AI practices and addressing algorithmic biases and fairness concerns.
Leadership: Proven track record of effectively leading and managing teams, fostering collaboration, and driving innovation.
Strategic Vision: Ability to develop and communicate a clear strategic vision for AI enablement and governance aligned with business goals.
Communication: Excellent communication skills to convey complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess risks, identify opportunities, and make informed decisions.
Change Management: Ability to drive organizational change and influence stakeholders to adopt AI-driven practices.
Project Management: Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools to oversee multiple AI initiatives.
Vendor Management: Experience managing relationships with external AI vendors and evaluating their offerings.
