Heartland’s Learning & Development team is looking for a Promising Entrepreneur (known as an Intern elsewhere) to join our dynamic group for Summer 2024! As a Content & Design Liaison for the Heartland Payroll Learning & Development team, you will partner with all training teams to support content development, design, and upkeep of all training resources for consistency and excellence, including and not limited to all live, recorded, and documented training.
In addition, you will be given a unique responsibility to undergo a project assignment, handed by the Director of Learning and Development to be presented along with facts and recommendations to executive leaders within Heartland.
What will you be doing?
Develop training content including, but not limited to: Google Slides, Quick Reference Guides/Training Guides, FAQs, Video Courses, etc.
Develop and maintain training content, supporting resources, and operational tools according to the Training Department branding and standards of excellence
LMS management
Support all teams under the Operational Training Org to develop content to be used by training teams
Work independently on special training projects to support the training department
Understand the evolution of the payroll operations organization and current/future payroll initiatives
Contribute to the on-going innovation of the design and representation of training content
What are the requirements?
Currently enrolled in a related degree program (B.S. or Master’s degree) from an accredited college or university
Passion for Learning & Development and best practices
Strong professional drive
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with creative or technical writing or editing skills
This role will be located in OKC
Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching, content development, design, or training is a plus!
