Summary

The NetSuite Administrator is required to understand and conceptualize applications from both the technical and a business point of view. This position requires strong business skills and would be responsible for reviewing, analyzing and implementing ways to improve systems to make business processes more efficient and improve data integrity.

The successful candidate must be able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, own deliverables end to end, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic environment. This individual must also work well under pressure - to meet ongoing and overlapping deadlines - while following a stringent release process.

The candidate will work closely with various business teams to create and build functional operational support through the Enterprise Systems applications. Candidates must possess the ability to understand business requirements and build workable solutions in Enterprise Systems

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex business problems and assess how NetSuite can be implemented to solve them

  • Evaluate business / functional requirements, impact on existing environments and design solutions using SuiteCloud Developer Framework

  • Recommend system changes and enhancements

  • Assist in supporting 2 separate instances of Netsuite, troubleshooting issues and building new enhancements

  • Create detailed documentation including but not limited to business requirements and design documents, user stories, workflow diagrams, training manuals, presentation materials and testing documentation.

  • Support research, analysis, and development of new concepts and emerging technologies

  • Work to understand key Enterprise Systems such as NetSuite, Agreement Express, Box, and Google Enterprise Systems

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Competencies (Knowledge/Skills or Abilities/Behavior)

Essential:

  • Knowledge of implementing and troubleshooting NetSuite workflows, saved searches, reports, dashboards, roles and permissions

  • 3+ years of Netsuite ERP/CRM experience

  • Ability to be a self-starter who can work independently and also collaboratively with a team

  • Comfortable meeting with stakeholders and Product Owners about issues that arise or enhancements that are requested

  • Demonstrates analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

  • Familiarity with the Agile Methodology

  • Works well in a collaborative environment

  • Basic knowledge of APIs

Skills:

  • Analytical with excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to multitask effectively and work against tight deadlines

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication

Desired Qualifications

  • At least Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline

  • At least 3 years relevant experience as a NetSuite Administrator

  • Experience working in an Agile Software Development organization

  • NetSuite Certification and experience with Suitebilling and/or WMS a plus
