Skills/Abilities:
In our unique organizational vernacular, we are looking for the following key qualities for this particular role.
Cultural Expectations/Skills
As an organization, we value a balance of cultural and operational excellence.
-
Happy and Healthy People
As an initiative and project-focused team, we can find ourselves with full calendars, long to-do lists, and working through speed bumps on a day-to-day basis. We believe that we can weather these circumstances by implementing happy and healthy practices into our lives. A major part of being a happy and healthy workplace is showing support for teammates by stepping in to help or, simply, demonstrating grace for others. Happy and healthy people drive company culture and, therefore, create a more positive customer experience.
-
Effective Listening & Efficient Communication
Project-based work where we are developing new tools, processes, and solutions every day requires the ability to hear and understand the underlying “why’s” behind the work we do. In order to work through solutions to roadblocks and hurdles as we create as a team, we have to be comfortable articulating complex and highly conceptual ideas. Documenting our new processes requires the ability to distill complex procedures into actionable steps.
-
Care, Focus & Quality
Contributing to a team of innovators requires the ability to slow down and think deeply about what we’re building together. Our team is constantly stepping into new challenges and previously unsolved problems, where each team member is trusted to be our resident experts in their respective fields of expertise. We drive excellence by being constantly curious, deeply motivated by working together for a shared goal, and able to exercise tenacity as a team to get all aspects of our shared project across the finish line.
Leadership Competencies/Expectations
While this position is not a hierarchical leadership role, as an organization, we expect all individuals to demonstrate leadership in self, in others regardless of title, and in the business.
-
Adaptable
As part of a growing business and rapid-paced environment, it is imperative that this person can adapt to change quickly while embracing the value of showing up and coming through quickly for the team. This requires a high level of innovation and strong collaboration with teammates to address changing circumstances with excellence and clear direction.
-
Reliable
Operating as a unit of highly skilled, highly empathetic individuals requires that we all be able to “own our shop” and deliver on our individual contributions to shared goals. Often, team member bandwidth fluctuates as we step into new projects, requiring us to step in and support one another so we can succeed as a team. Delivering on what we commit to is what drives trust within the team and trust with our external partners.

Physical Demands: This is a largely sedentary role. Some light lifting may be required. This position would require the ability to lift files, bend, and sit or stand for long periods during training as necessary.
