Overview:
The Philanthropy Coordinator will support the execution of the company’s philanthropic initiatives, including volunteer programs, charitable giving campaigns, and community outreach efforts. This role will be responsible for engaging employees in giving back to their communities and ensuring smooth operations of philanthropy events and activities. The Philanthropy Coordinator will help strengthen the company’s social impact through thoughtful planning and execution of employee involvement in volunteerism and charitable donations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the coordination of corporate volunteer programs and employee giving campaigns, ensuring effective program delivery and implementing stewardship plans
Support the management of charitable partnerships, maintaining strong relationships with nonprofits and other external partners to ensure that non-profit mission is aligned with GP giving pillars
Provide administrative support to the Senior Manager and Director for all philanthropic efforts, including event planning, communications, and outreach
Work with internal teams to promote and communicate upcoming volunteer opportunities and giving campaigns.
Track employee engagement with and participation in volunteer activities, fundraising campaigns, and philanthropic events
Coordinate logistics for volunteer events, including site visits, group activities, and partnerships with charitable organizations.
Ensure accurate reporting of participation in charitable initiatives, maintaining metrics and evaluating program effectiveness.
Tracking and ensuring the timely fulfillment of pledges, and requests via Benevity or similar software
Based out of our Atlanta offices.
Hybrid, 2-3 days a week onsite. Monday - Friday standard business hours, but will need to be flexible for event management.
Will need to have access to own reliable vehicle.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
2-3 years of experience in philanthropy, corporate social responsibility (CSR), or community engagement.
Experience coordinating volunteer programs, charitable campaigns, and nonprofit partnerships.
Strong project coordination and administrative skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Track and report on participation and impact metrics via Benevity, Tessitura, Excel etc.
