Global Payments is undergoing significant business, human resources, and total rewards transformation. The formal transformation is expected to take 2+ years.
The aim of our Total Rewards programs is to develop programs that support our strategic talent and investment goals. Excellence in day-to-day delivery and a focus on stakeholder management are on the critical path to achieving our goals. Of note, is that decentralized compensation & benefits programs and operations are being identified and reviewed for consolidation into a Total Rewards center of expertise model.
Summary of This Role
This role will be responsible for establishing, managing, and monitoring the day-to-day operation of the broad-based compensation team. This leadership role will be supervising 3-5 compensation professionals across 5+ countries in the Americas.
Through the use of data and intelligence gained from relationships, this role is expected to provide Compensation and Total Rewards leadership with insights and recommendations to evolve program design, employee experience, and HR partner experience.
The typical broad-based programs under this role’s management are job evaluation; salary administration; base compensation management; short-term incentive plans; and others.
What Part Will You Play?
Manages broad-based compensation program delivery and oversees the administration of those programs through a team of compensation professionals.
Prepares monthly management reports on the operation as well as adherence or deviation from program goals.

While this role is focused on delivery in the Americas, it also serves as the coordinator of the following, globally:
In partnership with the regional Total Reward leaders, regularly monitors the appropriateness of our market data sources.
Monitors the governance practices of the job and career architecture (job family catalog of jobs and related descriptions, etc.)
Supports the establishment and monitoring of country-specific, global salary structures and rigor of grade assignments.

Identifies needs for incentive programs in the various business
Advises the Compensation team, Finance, and business leadership to ensure plans are designed to operate within the short- and long-range financial parameters.

Monitors the regulatory environment and provides leadership with timely program or administrative recommendations
Will be the lead role for pay transparency in the Americas
Manages the annual compensation season

Hybrid, based out of our Winward offices in Alpharetta, GA.

What Are We Looking For in This Role?
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
~10 years or progressive experience, inclusive of 5-6 supervisory experience
Experience establishing or revamping operational procedures and service-level agreements

Identifying communication needs
Drafting non-technical communications on technical subjects

Proven track record
in relationship and stakeholder management
using data and analytics to identify program and operational needs
General project management

Critical thinking and analytical
Modeling scenarios in spreadsheet models
Additional considerations
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
Finance, Accounting, or quantitative training

General HR experience
General work experience with client / stakeholder management outside of Human Resources
Technology industry experience a plus
Management consulting (HR or otherwise) a plus
